Introduction

DG Cities is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users. We are continually seeking to improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.

DGCities.com

The website aims to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standards. We are continually reviewing and working to improve the accessibility of our website to make it easier for everyone to navigate and interact with. Some of this is ensuring good regular practices, such as adding alt tags to any new image or infographic uploads, are maintained – some is more structural, looking at the suitability of the template we use and contrasts in its design, for example. Following Government guidelines, our analysis focuses on principles, not technology, that take into account the different ways that people interact with our content. For example, users might: use a keyboard instead of a mouse, change browser settings, use a screen reader, screen magnifier or voice commands to navigate a website.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. DG Cities is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA.
