Are you passionate about smart mobility solutions? Do you want to lead projects that make a real, positive difference to people’s lives?

Then this might be the role for you!

Principal Future Mobility Consultant/Director of Future Mobility (Permanent)

At DG Cities, we help clients harness the power of technology and data to transform our towns and cities, with a practical approach that puts a city and its people first. We work with government, public sector bodies and leading innovation companies; together, we aim to harness  technology to help tackle some of the greatest social and environmental challenges we face.

Our key clients are local authorities (supporting policy development and future mobility strategies, as well as the practical application of EV charging rollout, fleet electrification and mobility hub projects); government agencies (advising on policies) and technology innovators (guiding their product and service development, and bridging the gap between the innovation and the public, often as part of Government-funded research consortia). We frequently work in collaboration with academic partners and technology providers, bringing a clear vision of how new mobility can best support people and places holistically.

The Role

We are looking for a new team member to work as either a Principal Future Mobility Consultant or Director of Future Mobility. This will be dependent on their level of experience and, equally importantly, their fit within the team. We are seeking a mobility professional with deep expertise and breadth of mobility experience, an individual able to lead the company’s work in smart mobility, expand its portfolio of projects and generate new business. As a senior decision maker in the company, we’re looking for a team player who can collaborate and lead as part of a multi-disciplinary team to design and deliver city-wide solutions, build partnerships and represent the work of DG Cities at industry events and conferences.

We’re particularly keen to speak to mobility experts with real-world experience designing and delivering insights and bringing new products/solutions to market for mobility teams across our key sectors.
